There is not always room to break down barriers and start to carve out a place in the Restoration. 

The eternal trilemma between honoring tradition, wanting to be on the European gastronomic frontier or trying to combine innovation with tradition.

Enter “from Start to Table” by the Lisbon incubator Startup Lisboa, a program that seeks to boost the sector through a focus on customer experience, new restaurant concepts and even technological elements aimed at introducing improvements in the front e back-house, as well as community involvement.

Each of the three winners will receive ten thousand euros.

Applications are open until September 15th and can be made on the program's official website.

Each project will be evaluated by a jury, which includes members of Startup Lisboa and sector experts. At the end of the first evaluation phase, 25 projects will be chosen for the prototyping and validation phase of the product or service. Over this time, they will have contact with an ecosystem made up of sector experts and investors. Participants will work, on average, three days a week, on a full-time

At the end, three winners will be chosen and awarded the prize.

We are pleased to learn about this program, given that, in the restaurant sector, as in many others, the challenge of a constantly changing consumer and the entry of new trends determine the next steps in this industry. So, instead of following the direction of the market, here's a chance to forge a new path.
